Industry collaboration in the ACT’s goods and services procurement reform program is set to take another step forward with further engagement to be held later this month to further progress strategic reforms.

Industry representatives are invited to meet with ACT Government to look at three issues identified by industry as priorities:

  • the role of panels;
  • equity and transparency in government decision-making and assessment of tenders, and
  • practical options for industry and Government to share information and strengthen Government understanding of market drivers and changes.

Concepts and activities for reform will be tested, discussed and refined.

Details of the next workshop are below:

  •          Date: Wednesday 27 April 2016
  •          Time: 1.00pm-4.00pm
  •          Venue: Bendora and Googoong Room – 33 and 35 Brindabella Circuit, Brindabella Business Park

Almost 50 industry representatives turned out at an industry workshop led by the Goods and Services Branch in late February 2016 to discuss the sticking points with goods and services procurement in the ACT Government.

To register your interest to attend this workshop, email  Expressions of interest close at noon Thursday 14 April 2016.   If you have any questions you can email  or call 6205 9797.
