The purpose of this Advance Tender notice is to provide suppliers with advance notification of a procurement project that is in development by the Territory.

The objective of this procurement activity will be to:

1. secure a competitive electricity supply arrangement;
2. secure electricity market pricing to enable the ACT Government to better plan and manage its electricity budget and usage;
3. ensure stability of electricity service provision to ACT Government sites; and
4. improve resource management through detailed usage forecasting.

The Territory does not guarantee this Advance Tender Notice will result in an open tender opportunity.
