Contracts Register

The ACT Government (the Territory) introduced a new Contracts Register on 1 July 2016.

The new Contracts Register has been integrated into Tenders ACT and offers a seamless experience for users - details of a procurement from issue of an RFx to award of a Contract will be searchable and viewable within the one system.  Users can conduct searches on a number of parameters including keyword, contract name, contract number, supplier name, supplier ABN, start and end dates and RFx number. They can also extract results in CSV format.

The old Contracts Register will remain active until two years after expiry of the last contract listed in the old register.

Links have been provided between the two registers to facilitate navigation.

The new Contracts Register will include details of new notifiable contracts, work orders and panel contracts.   Variations or work orders issued to existing contracts will result in the entire contract information being migrated into the new Register.  The new Contracts Register will have information on contracts awarded before July 2016, and over time, will store information on most notifiable contracts.

Both registers provide information to meet legislative requirements relating to the Notifiable Contracts Register – please refer to the Government Procurement Act 2001 and Government Procurement Regulation 2007

A number of other improvements have also been made to Tenders ACT to improve User Experience.
